The Modulo 6 Advantage

Performance

The future of building management systems in the age of the Internet of Things (IoT) demands reliable, very fast processing of large data quantities using devices of very small dimensions. The new generation of SAUTER automation stations are designed for precisely these challenges: modulo 6 provides unequalled performance in terms of data points per automation station, memory space and processing speed – all of this while taking up minimum space in the cabinet. The design and flexibility of the modulo 6 modules enables the provision of customised performance at optimised overall costs. From single-room control to a networked, globally distributed building cluster.

Modulo 6 can be operated intuitively! It connects via Bluetooth to a smartphone or tablet. An intuitively operated app enables access to measured values, control variables and system parameters. As an alternative to smartphone operation, modulo 6 also has a local operating unit (LOI) with a high-resolution graphical colour display. The LOI is compatible with all the available I/O modules and offers priority operation independently of the automation station as per EN ISO 16484-2, while also displaying measured values and output signals both numerically and graphically in real time.

In modern building management systems, seamless integration is essential to ensure efficient communication between different devices, platforms, and control systems. The new generation of SAUTER automation stations, including modulo 6, are designed to support flexible system integration across various building technologies and network environments.

Modulo 6 enables smooth connectivity with multiple building management components, allowing systems such as HVAC, lighting, energy monitoring, and security to operate within a unified platform. With support for open communication standards and scalable architecture, the system can easily integrate into both existing infrastructures and new installations.

This flexible integration capability allows building operators to centralize monitoring and control, improve operational efficiency, and adapt to future technological advancements. Whether managing a single facility or multiple interconnected buildings, modulo 6 ensures reliable communication and streamlined system management.

Modulo 6 supports IoT and cloud connectivity, enabling real-time monitoring and control of building systems. Data from connected devices can be accessed remotely through cloud platforms, allowing building managers to monitor performance, improve energy efficiency, and manage operations anytime, anywhere.

Modulo 6 is designed with advanced security features to ensure safe and reliable building system operations. It protects system data and communication through secure protocols and controlled access, preventing unauthorized changes or disruptions. This ensures that building management systems remain stable, protected, and reliable at all times.

Modulo 6 is designed to protect long-term investments by offering a scalable and future-ready system architecture. Its modular design allows easy upgrades, expansions, and integration with new technologies without requiring major system replacements. This ensures that building management systems remain adaptable, cost-efficient, and sustainable over time.
